  Assignment Guidelines
Temporary Lodging

1 The first families to move into new homes will be those whose current homes have been scheduled for demolition in the near future.

2. New homes will be assigned only to families whose military member’s pay grade is within the pay grade band for which the new home was built. For example, an E-7 cannot be assigned a home built for junior enlisted personnel, nor can he or she be assigned to a home built for Sergeants Major. Individuals who are on a promotion list will be assigned to homes built for the pay grade to which they are scheduled to be promoted.

3 . To the extent that new homes are available after people being relocated for demolition have been accommodated, the next priority will be to offer new homes to residents within the appropriate pay grade band based on the length of time they have lived in their current homes on-post at Fort Bragg.

4. Until current residents of privatized housing in the correct pay grade band have been offered a chance to move into a new home, no new homes will be assigned to families moving onto Fort Bragg from off-post or arriving at Fort Bragg with PCS orders.

5 . Service members must have six months or more remaining on their military assignment in the greater Fort Bragg area when they are assigned a new home.
